Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Multiple Violations:
1) Sanitizer solution throughout less than 200ppm QUAT - CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION - Solution changed during inspection
2) Sanitizer solution from dispensing units less than 200ppm QUAT - CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION - Solution was made and tested to be at 200 ppm QUAT using manual pour. Once again EHO has demonstrated to all staff present how to make sanitizer solution manually and how to test solution.

This is a repeat violation.The routine inspection resulted in lack of adequate sanitizer solution dispensed from dispensing unit. The sanitizer solution is to be at 200ppm QUAT at all times. Failure to ensure adequate concentrations of sanitizer solution will result in fines. Ensure sanitizer solution is made and tested daily. The unit needs to be serviced.

Discussed with owner on the telephone during inspection. Technician has been called.

1) Ensure sanitizer solution is changed throughout the day at a high frequency
2) Sanitizer solution is to be tested daily. Currently staff are not testing the solution from dispensing unit. Owner to return to facility to show employees how to manually make sanitizer solution.

Observation: 1) Sanitizing dispensing unit is malfunctioning. The Sanitizer dispensed from unit is dispensed at concentrations less than 200ppm QUAT.
2) Door of front cupboard has come off hinges.

Corrective Action(s): 1) Manually dispense QUAT solution and test with testing papers to ensure concentrations of 200 ppm QUAT are reached.Have unit serviced by technician.

Environmental Health Officer to return to ensure sanitizer solution is at 200ppm QUAT or equivalent. Ensure dispensing unit is serviced and staff are made aware how to manually make AND test solution to achieve 200ppm QUAT.
Fines will result if sanitizer solution is not at 200ppm QUAT.
