Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Both spray bottles of sanitizer had less than 200ppm Quats sanitizer. Bottle in the front area had no detectable sanitizer.
Corrective Action(s): Quats sanitizer at 200ppm is required to properly sanitizer food contact surfaces. Sanitizer bottles were emptied and refilled with 200ppm Quats sanitizer at the time of inspection.

Observation: None of the staff in the facility at the time of inspection had their FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent training. This is a continued violation.
Corrective Action(s): In the absence of the operator, at least one staff member must have FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent training. Staff member has registered to take FoodSafe Level 1 course on October 6, 2019. Staff member to provide confirmation of successful completion of FoodSafe Level 1 course by the instructor. Failure to successfully complete FoodSafe Level 1 will result in the issuance of a violation ticket.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Both sandwich cooler were at 4C.
-Under counter cooler was at 4C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -18C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C. Soups and meatballs reheated rapidly in the microwave.
-Frozen foods thawing in the walk-in cooler.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded twice daily.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Quats sanitizer dispenser was tested at 200ppm.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Staff observed practicing good handwashing and single use glove practices.
-Vegetable cutting equipment was found to be clean and sanitary.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and well maintained.
