Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Blenders and blender lids were stored inside the handwashing sink. The staff stated that this sink is used for washing purple blenders only used for almond milk to prevent allergen cross contamination.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the blenders and other equipment. Handwashing sink is designated for handwashing only. Warewashing is not allowed inside the handwashing sink. Blenders must be wash, rinsed, and sanitized in the three compartment sink.

Observation: Rubber mats were taped and covered the concrete floors in the dry storage area.
Corrective Action(s): Install new flooring and ensure it is covered at the wall to joint. Floors must be smooth, durable, easily cleanable and withstand wet washing.
Date to be corrected: Two months.

Comments

- General sanitation is satisfactory.
- Handwashing station stocked with cold/hot running water, soap, and paper towels.
- All coolers (prep, undercounter, upright) < or = to 4C
- All freezers (walk in, chest)< or = to -18C
- Three compartment sink available for manual dishwashing. Please follow the proper dishwashing instructions posted on the wall (i.e. wash, rinse, sanitize, air dry).
- Quat sanitizer available at 200 ppm to sanitize food contact surfaces.
- Surface sanitizer available in plastic bin with presoaked wiping cloth at 200 ppm Quat solution. .
- Dry storage area is good
- No signs of pest activity.
Note: The manager stated that the facility will be undergoing renovation in August. Spoke with the owner and she stated that the renovation will include new flooring, walls, and aesthetic improvements. No changes in the floor plan of the facility.
