Food storage rooms although very full were clean and organized.
Premises getting ready for busy Easter long weekend.
Cooler temperatures were 4 deg C or below.
Cold foods stored at or below 4 deg C.
Food products were covered inside the walk-in cooler.
Raw food items were stored separately from ready to eat food items.
Separate areas for preparing raw foods and cooking food items.
Hot food items were kept at 60 deg C or above.
Frozen desserts kept at -18 deg C.
Dishwasher measured 74 deg C (at the dishes).
Service area:
Hand sink provided with liquid soap and paper towels.
Glass ware washer measured >50 ppm chlorine.
Beverage coolers (some perishable food items stored in this uni) was below 4 deg C.
Sanitizer (bleach) was at >100 ppm.
No signs of pests noted. Pest control monitoring in place.
Washrooms in sanitary condition. General sanitation of premises was satisfactory at time of inspection.
Handed out bulletins to operator (Food safety during a power outage, Small fires in food premises and Boil water notices).
