Soup cooking - >74C/ 165 F - good.
Reviewed quick cooling procedures and food safety plan (corrective actions).
Food safety plan available. Keep temperature records.
Food is from approved sources.
Kitchen manager has Food Safe level 1 training - expiry date 2023 Oct. Go to www.foodsafe.ca to take refresher course before the expiry date. Certificates are valid for 5 years.
Hand washing sinks in kitchen and in dining area for residents have hot/cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels in dispensers.
Reviewed procedures for sanitizing food contact surfaces. Chlorine bleach in spray bottle is used. Make fresh daily. You can also store wiping cloth in sanitizing solution - use disposable gloves.
Wash-rinse-sanitize- air dry poster posted.
Following a routine cleaning schedule. Cleaning and organization - good!!!
Domestic dishwasher (<10 residents) - ok. Using sanitizing cycle for each run.
No signs of pests.
