Comments

General sanitation was satisfactory. Walk in freezer -21C, walk in cooler 2.4C, all containers properly labelled with prep date and expire date. Front service cooler with inserts <4C. Front under-counter cooler at 10C. Supervisor stated this cooler was only for temporary storage during peak hour. Recommended supervisor to move the vegi container to walk in cooler, no perishable food stored inside until fixed (<4C). Ecolab Quats 300ppm/at dispenser/ bucket at 200ppm. Meat balls in sauce at 62.8C after stirred. No pest activity observed during inspection. Dry storage area well organized and clean. Mop area kept clean and no flies observed. 3-compartment sink available for manual dishwashing. Handwash sink was fully equipped with hand soap, paper towel and cold/hot running water. Supervisor mentioned the store will be renovated in winter. Reminded supervisor to contact district EHO before renovation.
