Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): There was no available sanitizer solution on-site. Staff mentioned that their spray bottle broke yesterday.
Corrective Action(s): Employee was able to go across the street, buy the spray bottle and make up the solution.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The soap dispenser at the sink in the kitchen was empty.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that all soap dispensers are fully stocked at all times.

311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation: Plastic plates have been replaced with wooden boards with handles used in the same manner i.e. with a piece of wax paper placed on top before pizza is placed on it. When asked, the employees said that after use, each wooden board is wiped down and sprayed with sanitizer.
Corrective Action(s): This is NOT acceptable. Fraser health has been in touch with Freshslice's head office and it was made clear that conditions on permits must be followed at each location. The condition on the permit for this location is "single service utensils only", which means that you can only serve food in disposable plates/cups and use disposable cutlery only. REMOVE ALL WOODEN BOARDS FROM THE PREMISES.
