Observation: The following areas still require cleaning to remove build-up: ventilation hood panels and wall across from the walk-in-cooler. Operator stated they are planning to have the ventilation hood professionally cleaned and are trying to schedule for a company to come in soon.
Corrective Action(s): Clean the aforementioned areas to remove build-up; Correct within two weeks and contact the district Environmental Health Officer for a follow up inspection.

Follow up inspection:
-Hot-held BBQ meat was at or above 60 degrees C internal temperature.
-Hot-holding unit was maintained at or above 60 degrees C.
-Cleaning improvements were made to the following areas: 2-compartment sink near the back storage area, handsink, dry storage bins, storage rack, and the previously dusty ceiling tiles.
-Maximum occupancy limit was posted near the front entrance door.
-Operator removed the empty cardboard boxes with liners on a shelving unit during the inspection. It was reviewed that BBQ meat must not be displayed/hanged at room temperature to maintain it at a safe temperature and to protect it from contamination.
-Operator has received templates for the Worksafe B.C. COVID-19 safety plan. Ensure the COVID-19 safety plan is posted on-site. Ensure an effective barrier is installed near the area of the point of sale as well. Refer to WorkSafe B.C. website for details.
