Hand wash station fully equipped with hot/cold running water, soap and paper towel.
All coolers 4C or less (walk in cooler unit, display cooler units, beverage cooler unit)
Freezer -19C
Good general sanitation.No signs of pest activity noted at time of inspection.
Dry storage area well maintained.
Breads in bulk food bin containers had lids and tongs stored outside of the breads hanging on tong holder. *Secure tongs to outside of bulk food bins*
Meat slicers in use at time of inspection. Staff said meat slicer is cleaned at sanitized after each use/ every 4 hrs.
Wiping cloths stored in 100ppm chlorine sanitizer solution.
Manual ware washing procedures reviewed at time of inspection – no concerns. Drain plugs x3 available.
All stored foods appeared protected (ie. stored off the ground, covered..etc)
Note: Lights above food preparation area had cover. *Replace light covers/obtain sleeves for adjacent lights in retail space in case of potential travel for broken piece of bulb in case of breakage*.
