Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Potentially hazardous food items (e.g. cut fruit) located at the self-serve station were probed at an internal temperature of 9 to 10 degrees C. Cooler unit is set to the coldest temperature setting. It was stated by management that the inserts are changed out every two hours.
Corrective Action(s): Potentially hazardous food items were discarded at time of inspection. A small amount of food may be kept in the front unit for a period of two hours or less, before which the food product must be used or discarded. Ensure that all cold potentially hazardous foods are kept at 4 degrees C or less to limit the growth of potential pathogens and/or toxins.

Routine inspection conducted:

- Walk in cooler at 3 degrees C. Food is covered and stored off the floor.
- Mini cooler (front) at 2 degrees C
- Internal temperature of yogurt mix at 4 degrees C or less (7 machines)
- Walk in freezer at -20 degrees C
- Reach in freezer (front) at -24 degrees C
- Temperature records available and up-to-date
- A probe thermometer is available on site
- Discussed cleaning and sanitizing of equipment. Frozen yogurt machines are disassembled, cleaned, and sanitized on a weekly basis (one machine per day), as stated by management. Sanitation records available and up-to-date. "Stera-sheen" sanitizer is available for sanitizing internal components. A food-grade lubricant is available. Blenders at the front are taken to the back 3-compartment sink after each use to be washed, rinsed, and sanitized.
- Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer is available in spray bottles (front/back) and in third compartment of 3-compartment sink at 200 ppm. 3 sink plugs available for manual ware washing.
- Hand washing stations are unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
- Washrooms maintained in clean condition.
- FOODSAFE requirements met at time of inspection. Certificate produced at time of inspection is within expiry.
- No signs of pest activity at time of inspection.
