Observation: Licensing observed that the CRC documentation for the staff and individuals living in the home were not on-site

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: 13020 - CCLR s.22(1)(b) - A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed that the fire extinguisher was due for service. It was noted that it was still fully charged.
Corrective Action(s): This was corrected during the inspection with a new service tag.

RECORDS AND REPORTING: 19070 - CCLR s.57(2)(a) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.
Observation: Licensing observed that one child did not have medical insurance plan number on-site.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the child's file is updated. During the inspection, the staff reached out to the parent of the child to ask for this information.
