401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: No soap or paper towel available in the back room. Warewashing is done in this area and staff need to be able to wash their hands between handling 'dirty' and 'clean' food equipment. It was noted on the previous inspection report that a soap and paper towel is to be installed at the three compartment sink and that going forward this will be inspected as a hand wash station. Corrective Action(s): Have soap and paper towel set up at the three compartment sink to accommodate staff hand washing between handling 'dirty' and 'clean' food equipment. A follow up inspection will be done in one week unless operator contacts the district inspector to request an extension in order to have this completed. Violation Score: 5

-Hand wash station in front service area had soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water. -All coolers 4C or less (upright 2 door, undercounter ...etc) -Freezer -18C -Ice machine appeared clean with scoop stored outside of ice in separate container. -Quat at source and in container with cloths submerged 200 ppm. Test strips available -High temp dish washer achieved 71C (with thermolabel) -All foods appeared protected (stored off the ground, covered... etc.) -Good general sanitation. No obvious signs of pest activity noted at time of inspection.
