Observation: Fruit drain flies present in relatively small numbers. More flying around the front beverage area. Some areas noted where stagnant water is pooling and providing potential breeding opportunities.
Corrective Action(s): Staff must improve cleaning in areas identified in cleaning schedule and ensure these areas do not accumulate foods in any way. Eqpt. must be moved to access corners or hard-to-reach areas of the floor.
- Lids in front storage must stay dry or be cleaned and stored in alternate area.

- Beverage crates (yellow) used to store containers or used as support must be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis. This means any accumulation of food debris on them should trigger clean/replace at the end of the day.
Violation Score: 3

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Drain lines below sinks in front area continue to be a problem. They are leaking. They are not well designed. The waste water that escapes is a health hazard. There is ponding and stagnating water. One of the vertical pipes is taped up providing refuge for fly breeding in this area.
Corrective Action(s): These drain pipes need to be properly repaired and re-designed to improve drainage out of these pipes. Have serviced by a plumbing professional such that the issues noted above are eliminated.
