Paper based inspection Report #254991:
*Facility has now equipment installed (i.e. cooking tanks, holding tanks, packaging lines, etc.).
An updated floor plan with equipment and production flow layout has been submitted.
*Safety Data sheets provided for sanitation submitted.
*Food handler certificate submitted (for CBO).
*Hand wash station stocked with liquid soap and paper towels.
*Area designated for putting on smocks and hair nets.
*Washroom provided with sanitary supplies.
*Equipment - CIP
*Designated area for chemical storage. Ensure there is proper ventilation.
*Walk-in cooler (for finished product) registered 3-4 deg C.
*Packaging containers and food ingredients are stored off the floor.
*High temp. dishwasher reached 71.9 deg C at plate surface.
*No commercial production as of yet. Operator waiting for packaging labels to arrive.
- Once some fine tuning of machine is completed, facility is ready to fully operate.
*Pest control monitoring in place.
*Some palettes used are still wood. More plastic palettes ordered and will replace all wooden ones.
*At this time, product will be sold/distributed intraprovincially.
