Summary of Inspection:
During today’s inspection, there were 20 children, 5 staff, the manager, and licensee representatives on site.
At this inspection there were no contraventions identified, therefore no further action is required by the licensee in response to the inspection.
The following was discussed:
Care plans had been completed for children and should be signed by both the manager and the parent, and reviewed annually.
During the inspection licensing reviewed the use of the secondary outdoor space. One slide on the climbing structure did not meet for age of use. The established system for preventing children access was in need of change. to children. The manager proposed that the programs use a shared space system, with access to the newly accessible side garden area. This new playground use plan was reviewed and approved by licensing.
