Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Utensils were stored in storage units that appeared uncleaned (food debris found). Utensils were rewashed. Units were cleaned at time of inspection.

Comments

-Handwashing stations had hot and cold running water, paper towels and liquid soaps.
-Staff's hair was tied back.
-High-temp dishwasher met sanitizing requirement. (71C at the plate)
-Quats sanitizers at 200ppm (bucket, dispenser)
-Temperature logs updated.
-Temperatures:
Upright fridge at 4C, gelato fridge at -11C.
Undercounter fridge/freezer at 1.4C/-15C respectively.
Midway freezer/back freezer -18C/-18C
Prep fridge/displayer 4C/-2C
Soup 80C
-No evidence of mice at time of inspection.
-Bathroom handsinks had hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap and paper towels
-Most dry foods were in containers with lid and labelled.
-Ice cream scoops were stored in quats 200ppm and rinsed using water prior to using.
-Cleaning logs provided and updated.
-Ice machine appeared cleaned. Log showed it is cleaned monthly.

***Note: Assistant manager indicated that most staffs have Foodsafe Certificate but did not have them available. Please have them onsite for review at next inspection.
***Note: Bag of quick cooking oats should be in container with lid and not stored in the original paper packaging.
