Code 611 noted on Routine inspection # PKUR-CY8TAL of Dec-05-2023 Semi critical items not adequately cleaned and disinfected Observation: Eyewear (tanning booth goggles) wiped with intermediate level disinfectant. High level disinfectant was expired. Correction: Use high-level disinfectant for eyewear that sits directly on the clients eyes as per your infection control plan. Obtain new high level disinfectant. Correct immediately.

Follow-up inspection Barbicide and CS20 (expiry date of July 19, 2024) have been obtained. Please follow manufacturer's instructions for use (CS20 requires a 20 minute soak time and has a re-use period of 14 days). Lash services provided. Discussed disinfection of tools (tweezers are disinfected in CS20). Bed is wiped with a low level disinfectant and towel is laundered after each use. Lash adhesive - ensure all products used meet Health Canada labelling requirements. Hand sink in treatment room equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and single-use towels. No objections to lash extension services - please update infection control plan to include this service.
