Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No food contact surface sanitizer available during inspection. Staff prepared bleach sanitizer in pail with wiping cloth which measured at 200 ppm with test strip.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure food contact surface sanitizer is prepared at all times to maintain the premise in a sanitary manner. Bleach sanitizer must be prepared at a concentration of 100-200 ppm chlorine by mixing 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of bleach with 1L of water (or as per approved sanitation plan).

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
1. Hand washing station in staff washroom observed not supplied with paper towel or other single-use drying method. Staff placed paper towel roll at the hand sink during inspection.

2. Hand washing station in storage area not supplied with liquid soap or paper towel. Staff placed both paper towel roll and soap in a disposable dispenser at the hand washing station during inspection.

Corrective Action(s): Maintain all designated hand washing stations unobstructed and adequately supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel to ensure staff are washing their hands frequently and properly.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation:
1. Four deceased mice observed on site. Two of the mice are observed on a glue board in the kitchen. Two of the mice are observed on a glue board behind the chest freezer in the storage area near the kitchen.

2. Rodent droppings observed in the following areas:
- Near the back door, where the ice machine is stored.
- In the decommisioned cooler/freezer used as storage space, specifically on the floors.
Corrective Action(s): Remove deceased mice immediately. Clean up rodent droppings wearing appropriate PPE. Sanitize all affected areas with bleach solution (by mixing 1 part bleach with 1 Liter of water). Contact pest control company to assess and apply treatment as necessary. Remove clutter on floors (e.g. boxes). Refrain from storing anything directly on the floor to prevent rodent entry/harbourage/breeding on site. Submit recent pest reports to the health inspector for review via email and continue to submit reports until the next inspection.

- General sanitation satisfactory
- Hand washing station at the front service area and in the kitchen observed unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- 3-compartment sink available with drain plugs and bleach
- Equipment observed stored in a sanitary manner
- All food observed covered and stored at least 6 inches off the floor
- FOODSAFE Level 1 trained staff available on site
- Permit posted in a conspicuous location on site

- Temperature logs for all coolers and freezers must be maintained on site (as per approved food safety plan). Print a temperature log and ensure to keep it on site to be verified by the inspector during the next inspection.
