Observation: Pests issues still being dealt with. Pest control company has been contracted to aggressively deal with this issue.
Corrective Action(s): Pest control contract has been increased to deal with issue (higher frequency for the month of Oct and until issue is under control).

Observation: Front door weather stripping also worn out. Vent cover above the dishwashing area is missing.
Corrective Action(s): Add to these two items to the list for rodent proofing the premises. Replace worn out weather stripping for both back door and front door. Also vent cover for the back storage and above dishwashing area.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Areas in the bar, DJ booth and back bar storage area has been addressed. Kitchen area requires more thorough cleaning.
Corrective Action(s): All areas of kitchen must be done by Monday otherwise further enforcement action will be taken.

Discussed issues with the operator on the phone this morning.
Site visit conducted to determine what actions were taken since the day complaint was received.
Manager was on-site and discussed with her what has been done and still being addressed.
Meeting with operator on Monday to ensure sanitation level in the kitchen is where it should be to prevent issues like pests and contamination.
