At the inspection dated September 21, 2023 there were 5 children and 1 staff present.
No coded violations were noted during today's inspection; no written response is requested at this time
Licensing discussed options regarding the emergency exit gate being secured versus locked, as this would be the only exit out however to ensure no children attempt to leave the back yard, it was suggested to keep the lock unlocked however remain in place, and perhaps using an item such as a karabiner as additional securing for any children that may present as a flight risk.
Licensing also reminded that all information on the children's registration files is required including a child's start date.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed. For this inspection the contents of the Facility Inspection Report and Risk Assessment were discussed and provided to the Licensee and/or Manager while on site.
