Observation: - Miscellaneous debris, packaging materials noted under counters in front service area and under pop bib shelving.
Corrective Action(s): - Thoroughly clean floor in aforementioned areas to remove all debris. Implement cleaning schedule to ensure these areas are cleaned on a regular basis. [Correction date: today]

Comments

- Handsink in food service area supplied with liquid soap and paper towel. Observed handwashing prior to food handling.
- Staff/public washrooms supplied with liquid soap and paper towel for handwashing. *Paper towel dispenser in women's washroom was filled with paper towel at the time of the inspection
- Coolers were operating at acceptable temperatures (4C or colder):
- Sandwich line (left) 4C (right) 4C
- Undercounter cooler 2C
- Walk-in cooler 3C
- Beverage cooler 4C
- Hot holding of potentially hazardous foods was at acceptable temperatures (60C or higher)
- Soup 64C
- Meatballs 67C
- Walk-in freezer -15C
- Quats sanitizer present in spray bottles for sanitizing food contact surfaces in back prep area and front service area. Concentration of solution in spray bottles measured 200ppm
- Quats sanitizer present for manual warewashing from dispenser at 3 compartment sink. Concentration of sanitizer from dispenser measured 200ppm. Test strips present for verfying sanitizer concentration. *Ensure concentration is checked daily (minimum) or as outlined in sanitation procedures.
- No signs of pest activity noted at the time of the inspection.
- Staff on duty reported that he completed Foodsafe level 1 three months prior. Certificate not present at time of inspection. Certification to be verified on database.
