Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Pan used to reheat food items such as channa masala found stored next to stove with a good portion of food left in it. Product measured at 20C.
Garlic/ ginger/ chilli paste found at prep counter at 20C
Corrective Action(s): ALL hazardous food items must be kept cold at 4C or below, or hot at 60C or higher at all times.
Pan with channa masala was removed by staff before EHO could address it.
Paste moved to prep cooler.

302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): At time of inspection dishwasher not functional, dishes both in use and waiting to be washed, while no sanitizer solution available on site for ware washing. Dishwasher allegedly stopped working at some point yesterday.
Corrective Action(s): Staff handed instructional posters on how to set up sinks for manual ware washing. EHO had staff prepare 1 sink with detergent, and another with sanitizer.
If your dishwasher malfunctions / breaks, you MUST have manual ware washing set up for use if you wish to continue operating.

Observation: 1) Potato slicer found with dried on food debris
2) Dry product bins found without lids
3) Dry product bins found with bowls and cups being used as scoops - "scoops" left in product instead of being stored in a sanitary manner
4) Prepared products found in refrigeration systems without food grade wrapping or covers.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Food equipment MUST be washed, rinsed, and sanitized immediately after use to prevent food from drying on and growing harmful bacteria.
2, 3 & 4) Ensure all products have a food grade cover while not in use. Keep proper scoops stored outside of food product in sanitary containers or on clean hooks.

Observation: Dishwasher not operational at time of inspection. Staff said machine broke down yesterday.
Corrective Action(s): Technician must be called for repairs. Do not use until fully operational, including the minimum sanitizing rinse temperature.
