Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back door was open at time of inspection. Door was closed when notified.

Observation: During the power wash, the surface underneath the walk-in fan was damaged and pieces of the surface may fall off. Operator mentioned he had ordered the part and will arrive soon.
Corrective Action(s): Repair the surface underneath the walk-in cooler fan.
Correction date: 1 week.

Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation: The handwashing station at the back did not have paper towels in dispenser. Paper towels provided above the dispenser (too high to reach). No other areas surrounding the sink was appropriate to place the paper towels.
Correction: Provide paper towels in dispenser.

Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: 1. Asked staff to demonstrate how equipment and dishes are washed and sanitized, currently not sanitizing food contact surfaces. 2. Found multiple containers, dishes and equipment that have been put away with food and grease still on them
3. Currently using lemon scented chlorine bleach.
Correction: 1. Remind all staff of proper manual ware washing: 1. Wash with soap, 2. rinse, 3 soak in chlorine and water (1 ounce per gal water) for 2 minutes. 4. air day Sign is posted for proper washing/sanitizing.
2. Ensure all dishes, containers and equipment are properly rewashed to remove all food and grease before they are put away
3. Ensure to use unscented regular chlorine bleach to sanitized counter tops.

Follow-up to inspection report #NTRG-BCWV38:

Code 401: Corrected.

Code 304: Corrected. Most rodent droppings were removed, although a little more cleaning is required to remove the rest.

Code 306: Corrected. Operator mentioned that the walk-in cooler was power washed.

Code 501: Pending Correction. Operator mentioned he planned to take the Food Safe Level 1 course by the end of the month in Punjabi. Due by July 7, 2019.

Code 302: Corrected. Operator provided unscented liquid bleach and is reiterated on the proper dishwashing method (wash, rinse, sanitize with 100ppm bleach).
