Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: Build up of food debris observed under all shelving (dry, walk-in freezer, walk in cooler). Excessive build up of debris can be an attractant to pests and be potential contamination sites for food.
Correction: Clean up areas under and around shelving immediately.

Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: QUATS sanitizer in bucket measured to be <100ppm at time of inspection.
Correction: 1. Contact technician to recalibrate dispenser immediately.
2. Verify sanitizer concentrations measure 200-400ppm with test strips when mixing fresh sanitizer.
3. Replace sanitizer more frequently.

Follow-up inspection to inspection TCHN-BYYNF8

Sanitizer concentration ~200ppm at time of inspection; Ecolab contacted but has not serviced facility yet. It is important to have dispenser calibrated regularly.
Facility clean at time of inspection; food debris and grease build up removed

Balpreet met up with inspector during follow-up and has indicated there will be an ownership change to this facility, and that there will be a floor plan change in the future.
