Observation: 1. Missing light shield noted on one of the fixtures in the kitchen area. Missing light shield in the walk-in cooler.
2. Ice scoops stored in a cardboard containers noted with other non-food materials.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Replace the missing light shields noted in the kitchen and walk-in cooler. All light fixtures must be protected in the event that they are shattered or burst, leading to glass fragments potentially contaminating food that are nearby the fixtures.

Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations, including the washrooms, were accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
All refrigerator units were at ≤ 4C.
All freezer units were at ≤ -18C.
Bleach sanitizer solution available. 200 ppm chlorine residual detected.
Food handler is aware that all potentially hazardous food that are stored in room temperature must be returned to a functioning cooler unit after 2 hours.
Food handler cleans all in-use utensils twice a day (business operates from 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM) or as needed. Reminded staff to clean and sanitize all in-use utensils at least every 4 hours, at the end of day or when noted to be really dirty.
High temperature dish machine was able to attain 71.0C at the plate level during the rinse cycle.
No signs of pest activities noted during the inspection.
Operator's (on-site at the time of inspection) FOODSAFE level 1 available and verified - expires April 21, 2023.
