Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Peeled onions were observed to be left out at room temperature and were visibly spoiling. Staff mentions they have been sitting out since last night. The staff voluntarily disposed of the following:
- Bucket of peeled onions

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Low temperature dishwasher sanitizer bucket was empty. Staff replaced it with a full bucket and the dishwasher achieved 50ppm at plate level.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No paper towel in paper towel dispenser when attempting to wash hands. Staff explains the roll has been ordered and placed temporary paper towels next to sink.
Corrective Action(s): Refill the paper towel dispenser to allow for adequate hand drying after washing

Observation: Food items in the prep cooler infront of cooking/frying area were observed to be uncovered. Staff were notified.

Observation: Cans of pop were observed to be placed on the ground near dishwashing area.
Corrective Action(s): Place pop cans in an enclosed are (bag, box, etc.) to avoid attraction of pests such as flys

Observation: The following areas require attention:
-Wall behind the dishwasher has visual build-up of mould like substance which appears black
-Floor in dishwasher area is covered in water
-Lids and storage bins covered in food debris
-Dough mixer is covered in dry flour
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the areas above are cleaned and sanitized. The areas noted should be cleaned more frequently to avoid the build-up of debris and contaminants.

Routine inspection conducted
-After correction, handwash station fully equipped with liquid soap, paper towels, and hot/cold water
-All coolers were at 4C
-Freezer units were at -18C
-Dry storage is okay. Food must be stored above 15cm
-Bleach sanitizer in spray bottle and bucket with cloth achieved 200ppm chlorine
-No signs of pest activity

Note: major improvement required in overall sanitation of facility.
