Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated February 11, 2022 there were 7 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. No further action is required by the Licensee or the Licensing Officer. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. This inspection and the risk assessment were written off site and a copy was emailed to the facility. The following education/recommendations were provided: - Continuing to follow Covid-19 safety protocols. - Care provider may have digital photos of children. - Parents may list a walk-in clinic in their child's registration. - Understanding when and how to report reportable incidents. - Notifying parents of any pets and having a pet policy.
