PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation: Review of outdoor play area observed a child size bench has loose screw that was sticking out from the top of the bench that was posing health and safety risk.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure healthy & safe environment is provided to children in care.

PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11020 - CCLR s.13(2) - A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation: Licensing observed a fabric sofa/couch in infants/toddler room. The couch fabric was dirty and one corners was ripped on the armrest.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure facility and furniture is clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Date to be Corrected: Please provide a written response by December 18 to address this contravention.
