Routine inspection: General: Laundry services done on-site separate from personal items. Treatment bed linen sheets changed after each client. Flooring and lighting adequate. Washroom hand sink provided with liquid soap and paper towels. Electrolysis: All needs prepackaged presterilized and single use. Sharps container available for use. Laser Hair Removal: At the time of inspection, the laser room and equipment was not inspected as staff were providing laser treatment services. Laser warning sign posted in door to treatment room. Discussed disinfection procedures. Operator indicates no changes in operation. Threading: Single-use thread used. Sugaring: One pot is used for each client - when sticks are double dipped, entire pot is discarded after the client is done. This is ok. Sticks and strips are available. If not discarding pot, ensure application strips are single-use only. Facials: Blackhead remover spatula - disinfected with 70% alcohol.
