Observation: Front handwash station is leaking water, resulting in water damage in the under counter cabinet.
Corrective Action(s): Service handwash station and repair leaking water. Dry out cabinet and replace/repair any material which cannot be properly dried. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -10C.
-Prep area upright cooler was at 4C.
-Service area under counter cooler was at 4C.
-Service area milk dispenser was at 3C.
-Prep area upright freezer units were at -10C and -23C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C. Chicken was cooked/reheated to greater than 74C. Beef and onions were cook/reheated to greater than 71C.
-Grilled onions cooled in shallow metal containers and were at 4C.
-Condiments stored at ambient temperatures. Time tracking is used as a control measure.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded daily.
-High temperature dishwasher is currently not in use - no dine in due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Staff observed practicing good handwashing practices.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Sink plugs available and Quats sanitizer was tested at 200ppm.
-Quats sanitizer pails and spray bottle labelled and tested at 200ppm. Quats sanitizing solution changed every hours.
-Facility is practicing enhanced sanitation of common touch surfaces.
-Vegetable slicers were found to be clean and sanitary.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Facility serviced by a professional pest control operator. No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Staff FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until October 13, 2023.
