An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSOP).
Evidence for this report was based on the Licensing Officer’s observations, review of the facility records and information provided by the facility staff at the time of inspection.
The following violations previously identified on the routine inspection were now found to be in compliance:
Code 11020-CCLR s. 13(2): A thermometer is now in the fridge for monitoring the fridge temperature, and it was in the safe food storage range, measuring 0 degrees Celsius.
Code 11230-CCLR s.47: Hot water temperature at sink used by children for hand washing was in compliance, measured 39.7 degrees Celsius.
Code 19090-CCLR s. 57(c): Attendance record reviewed and was found to be complete indicating time of arrival and departure.
Code 19160-CCLR s. 57(2)(i): Ten registration records were reviewed and all were complete including photos for all.
No hazards were noted at time of this inspection.
Staff ratios exceeded requirements at time of this inspection.
