308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)] Observation: - Floor in kitchen area becoming excessively pitted and worn. Wood under flooring visible in areas. As a result areas of the floor is not getting cleaned effectively. (Pictures taken). - Shelves in Pepsi Cooler severely deteriorated and rusted. Plastic coating flaking off in parts. Shelves are difficult to clean and flaking plastic poses a risk to food contamination. Corrective Action(s): - Floor requires replacement. Submit renovation plan for approval within three months. Floor replacement should be within a reasonable timeframe, preferrabley within six months to one year. **Replacement floor should be smooth, impervious to moisture, durable and light coloured. - Pepsi shelving requires replacement to facilitate cleaning and prevent food contamination. **Replace within thirty days or sooner. This will be reviewed on next scheduled inspection. Violation Score: 3
