Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Comments

Summary of Inspection
At the inspection dated August 11, 2021 there were 35 children and 10 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this routine inspection, a facility risk assessment tool is completed and a copy is provided. This report was reviewed with the supervisor and written off site. A copy of this report was emailed to the facility today. Total time includes office time.
A discussion took place with the supervisor regarding outdoor play during hot weather and strategies that can be used to ensure safety of the children.
