Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Refer to Code #308
-Many dairy products such as milk and cream stored in the walk-in cooler which is at 9 C; last update on temperature log was at 10 am; inspection conducted at 11 am
Corrective Action(s): Required operator to call for a technician to repair the walk-in cooler immediately. All cold potentially hazardous foods are to be transferred to a working cooler at 4 C or lower.

Observation: 1. soap dispenser is blocked completely by coffee brewers by drive-thru station
2. Soap dispesnser beside sandwich prep cooler is broken
**Staff are to use other hand washing stations near by.

1. Move the coffee brewer so that soap is easily and fully accessible by all staff
2. Soap dispenser is to be fixed or replaced

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Refer to Code #308
-Frozen products kept at -5 C; most are frozen donuts; sliced potatoes and pre-cooked chicken kept in walk-in freezer which were frozen hard.
Corrective Action(s): Required operator to call for technician to repair the freezer immediately. All potentially hazardous foods are to be transferred to a working freezer until the walk-in freezer is fixed.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Walk-in cooler measured to be at 9.4 C; walk-in freezer measured to be at -5 C. Temperature logs are kept and updated everyday and logs for the morning of inspection day indicated that the cooler is at 4 C or lower and the freezer is at -18 C or lower. Thermometer placed on the cooler and freezer wall is not functioning properly. The walk-ins could be under defrost cycle.
Corrective Action(s): Required operator to call a technician to fix/repair the cooler/freezer as well as the thermometers. Operator is to monitor the temperature and fix any leaks and/or faults as soon as possible. Immediate attention is required as these two coolers are necessary for operation.

All coolers other than the walk-in cooler at 4 C or lower; all freezers other than the walk-in at -18 C or lower; all hot holding units at 60 C or lower
No sign of pests noted at the time of inspection
**Noted several coffee filters/pots with broken handles that make it difficult for proper cleaning; ensure to have them replaced with new ones to facilitate easier and proper cleaning.
