Routine inspection: Manicure/Pedicure: All semi critical nail implements (clippers, nippers, credo blade holders and metal cuticle pushers) disinfected in PREempt CS20 after use. All buffers and sanding blocks single use. Pedicure tub disinfected with bleach solution after use. Hand sink in service area provided with liquid soap and paper towels. Credo blades single use. Sharps container available for use. Waxing: All wax sticks and strips single use. Facials: Implement with needle and loop end observed onsite. Needle side is not used. Discarded implement into sharps container. Staff providing facials services to purchase a comedone extractor. PREempt CS20 available for disinfecting facial implements. Laser hair removal: IPL machine key operated with emergency on/off button. Client goggles opaque. Lined with single use kleenex and wiped down with 70% isopropyl alcohol after each use. Hand sink provided with liquid soap and paper towels. Treatment bed paper liner single use. Freshly laundered linen towels available for use. Laser hand piece disinfected with 70% ispropyl alcohol after use. Eyelash tinting: Cease using the two dyes onsite(Intensive and Augenblick.
