Code 302 noted on Follow-Up inspection # MLUO-BGKU4S of Oct-02-2019 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation: Dishwasher has grime build up inside and outside. Inside prep line coolers are unsanitary. Pizza paddle has stuck on food on it. Correction: Clean and sanitize these equipment thoroughly and ensure they are part of the cleaning schedule so that they are cleaned/sanitized on a regular basis. Pizza paddle need to be scraped off and clean and sanitized.

Comments

Dishwasher, pizza paddle board and inside cooler have been cleaned. However, more deep scrubbing/cleaning required to remove stuck on debris and grime. Improvement on general cleaning noted. Areas that require attention: corners and side of the floor in the kitchen area, staff washroom doors, in between equipment, inside dishwasher, inside prep line coolers. Note: deep cleaning should be done after hours so that staff can concentrate on just cleaning instead of multi-tasking for food preparation and making orders.
