Observation: Construction for the installation of the new grease trap not completed. Manager stated 3 more nights required. Ice machine which is located in front of construction area is not being sealed off at night to prevent dust from getting into the unit.
Corrective Action(s): Until construction is done unit must be drained, cleaned and sanitized daily before new ice is made.

Observation: Observed substantial amount of sand on the floor adjacent to the plywood in the construction area.
Corrective Action(s): Construction company must have and follow cleaning procedures which address cleaning up after nightly work is done. Cleaning must mitigate generating airborne dust

*Confirmed with the City of Maple Ridge plumbing department that a permit is required for the work being done. No permit has been taken out with the city.
Store Manager was informed construction will take another 3 nights as the opening in the floor for the larger grease trap requires the removal of additional dirt before concrete can be poured.
