Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One insert of steak was measured at 11.8C and one insert of ground beef was measured at 12.4C. Both stored on the top part of pizza topping cooler and staff was unsure when the temperature had elevated since the food temperature was fine in the morning.
Corrective Action(s): Both items discarded. Directed staff to close the lid when restaurant is not busy and check to ensure that cold potentially hazardous food stays 4C or colder.

Observation: Extra drying rack is directly next to the area where dirty items accumulate at the three compartment sink.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that dirty and clean items are not next to each other as dirty items may splash and contaminate the clean dishware. Consult the Health Unit for solution to this.

No apparent signs of pest noted at time of inspection but try to keep back door closed to prevent entry of pests

Note: floor tile at warewashing area has been replaced and is smooth and easily cleanable.
