205 - Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)] Observation: Both sandwich coolers read 12-19C at the time of inspection. Staff stated that there had been no food in there overnight and had only been put in in the morning after the technician came to check on the coolers. Email was received at 930AM stating that the coolers measured 2C. Corrective Action(s): Move all potentially hazardous foods to operational coolers or into ice baths. Use the thermometers in the sandwich coolers to monitor the ice baths. Do not use the sandwich coolers until they are repaired/replaced and are able to achieve and maintain 4C at ALL times, especially during rushes. Keep detailed temperature logs (templates provided).
