Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A bowl of sprouts was found to be at 11C.
Corrective Action(s): The operator informed that the sprouts were taken out of the cooler for the lunch rush about 1 hour ago. They added ice to the container at the time of inspection. Ensure potentially hazardous foods are kept at 4C or below, or 60C or above. Do not store potentially hazardous foods at room temperature for more than 2 hours.

Observation: The ice machine chamber had build up of debris/mold along the walls.
Corrective Action(s): Thoroughly clean and sanitize the ice-machine. Ensure equipment is regularly cleaned to maintain sanitation. Inspector will return to follow-up. Date to be correct by: immediately.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Hand washing sink by the cook line had dirty spoons and utensils in the basin.
Corrective Action(s): Staff removed the utensils at the time of inspection. Ensure the hand washing sinks are kept clear of obstructions to encourage frequent hand washing.

Observation: A large bag of onions, a box of cabbage, and a cooked pot of bubble tea pearls were found on the floor.
Corrective Action(s): Operator moved food items off the floor at the time of inspection. Re-organize the storage areas to ensure food is never stored on the floor. Floor is a potentially contaminated surface that can cross contaminate food and cause foodborne illness.

Routine inspection of the food facility conducted.

Temperatures:
- Double door upright freezer: -21C
- Stand-up single door freezer: -18C
- Preparation cooler 1: 2C
- Preparation cooler 2: 4C
- Bar under-counter cooler: 3C
- Glass sliding door cooler: 1C
- Walk-in cooler: 2C
- Hot holding unit: 68C
- Chopped fruit in the bar cooler had an internal temperature of 4C or below
- Rice in the rice cooker had an internal temperature of 75C

All units are equipped with accurate thermometers. Food probe thermometer was available on site.

Sanitation:
- Hand washing sinks were adequately equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and disposable paper towels. *see violation above*
- 2-compartment sink (2) were equipped with functional drain plugs.
- Low-temperature dishwasher achieved 50 ppm chlorine residual at the dish surface after the final rinse cycle.
- 200 ppm bleach sanitizer was available in all food preparation areas in labelled buckets - GOOD
- Staff washroom was in satisfactory sanitary condition.

Storage and Pest Management:
- No signs of recent pest activity noted at the time of inspection.
- Pest proof bins are used for dry ingredient storage.

NOTE: Reorganize the storage area to ensure the floor was can be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

Administration:
- Operator and staff have valid FOODSAFE level 1 certification.
- Permit is posted.
NOTE: Ensure Temperature logs and sanitation logs are kept up to date.

COVID-19 Safety:
- BCCDC signage is posted at the front entrance.
- Masks are mandatory. Signs are posted.
- Ground markings in place to allow for crowd control.
- Hand sanitizers are available and accessible.
- COVID-19 safety plan is available on site.
