Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
Maple's dishwasher was not in operation as parts are on order to fix it. A working dishwasher is important to ensure dishes are washed and sanitized correctly to kill pathogens. The dishwasher in Harvest is being used to wash Maple's dishes as well.
Corrective Action(s):
Repair the dishwaser in Maple so it can wash and sanitize dishes.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Harvest cooler was 4C; freezer was -13C; thermometers present; and temperatures recorded daily.
- Harvest dishwasher was running and the sanitizing cycle was engaged.
- Maple cooler was 3C; freezer was -13C; thermometers present; and temperatures recorded daily.
- Handsinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Accel Wipes used on high touch areas.
- COVID-19 plan in place, the measures are: masks & gloves worn; increased cleaning frequency of high touch areas with Accel wipes; health questionnaire and temperatures taken before and during each shift; staff work in the cottage/building; and social distancing done when possible.
- Discussed inspection report results with the manager, no signature obtained due to pandemic.
