Introduction

Licensing was on site to conduct a scheduled follow up inspection to the routine inspection #SWAR-BSSP2K, to assess compliance with the Community Care Facilities Act (CCALA) and Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR). Licensee/Manager had responded in writing to the contraventions cited at the routine inspection. The following contraventions have been addressed: 11010 - A compliance provided a schedule for groups to access the outdoor play space 11020 - The cupboard door has been repaired; weeds have been removed; rooms were painted to cover the chipping. 11200 - Bathroom sink cupboard is no longer accessible to children 12050; 12140 - Staff files have been updated with the relevant information included 12200 - Evacuation drill was practiced as recalled by staff but was not recorded. 14060 - Napping areas now have monitoring equipment in place that is viewed by the staff during nap time.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

On site today was the Manager to assist Licensing. Risk screening was completed as well as a COVID-19 assessment. Both programs were operating with appropriate staffing. Report was reviewed with the Manager and written off site, therefore no signatures attached. Report was emailed to Manager.
