304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: Mouse droppings noted in hard to reach corners of back dry storage room. Droppings noted on lower shelves around grill and prep coolers. Corrective Action(s): Ensure all mouse activity is logged and shared with pest control service. Regular cleaning of mouse droppings will allow for accurate understanding of "current" pest activity vs "old" pest activity. ***As per operator - Pest control (Terminex) is onsite monthly - this needs to be more frequent until the pest activity can be controlled. ***Provide Fraser Health a copy of the last 2 pest control reports. Correction date: 1 week Violation Score: 9 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Mouse droppings noted: 1. Between 2 prep coolers in the corner 2. In the corners/hard to reach areas of dry storage room 3. Debris and shredded insulation noted beside/behind dryer Corrective Action(s): Ensure all the areas noted above are cleaned and sanitized. ***Recommend breaking the kitchen into 4 sections - deep clean 1 section once a week, all sections will be addressed in 1 month. Follow-up inspection to report #ZDER-CB8S4X -Permit has been re-posted in more visible area -All paper towel dispensers are fully operational -Chemical bottles are properly labelled and available *Remove all empty chemical bottles -Improvements in sanitation noted throughout back kitchen and under bar - exceptions noted above -Pest activity still noted above *Improvements with pest proofing dry food products in pest proof containers with secured lids - excellent *Back door screen door in use and appears to be properly fitted to prevent easy pest entry
