Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Manual slicer was found to have carrot debris on the blades.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure slicer is properly disassembled for cleaning and sanitizing at the end of the day and not the next day. Slicer blades were disassembled for cleaning and sanitizing at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Eggs were stored above ready-to-eat deli meats.
2) Spring rolls were stored in the chest freeze in an open basket.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Ensure eggs are stored below and/or separately from ready-to-eat foods to prevent potential contamination of foods. Eggs were relocated to the bottom shelf at the time of inspection.
2) Ensure foods are stored in food grade materials and protected from potential contamination. Spring rolls were stored in a food grade bag at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Bar cooler was at 4C.
-Unable to verify temperature of display cooler - undergoing a defrost cycle at the time of inspection.
-Chest freezer was at -16C.
-Cooked foods rapidly cooled in a water bath or in the freezer. Meatballs made the previous day were at 4C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Staff member observed properly changing single use gloves between handling money and handling food.
-Bleach sanitizer pail was at 200ppm.
-Deli slicer was found to be clean and sanitary. Slicer properly disassembled for cleaning and sanitizing after each use.
-Condensed milk properly stored in a food grade container after opening.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Food court area is serviced by a professional pest control operator.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until February 23, 2023.
