401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Paper towels not available at staff handing washing stations. Ensure hand washing stations and washrooms have liquid soap, paper towels and hot and cold running water. The hot water handle is in poor condition and requires repair. Corrective Action(s): Ensure hand washing stations have liquid soap, paper towels and hot and cold running water. At front service area one of the 3 sinks have to be dedicated to hand washing for staff. Violation Score: 5

Ensure all food contact surfaces are in good condition. Do not use poor condition food utensils or equipment. Replace with new ones to prevent food contamination. Ensure to clean and organize all food storage areas to prevent attracting more rodents. Correction required in one week. Old food debris and grease build up observed above dish washer, in fume hood, in back storage room where the onions are stored. Some of the ceiling tiles are starting to peel, some floor tiles are broken and the men's washroom door is cracked. The fumehood service stickers indicate cleaning and service was due in 2023. Corrective Action(s): Ensure to keep up with facility maintenance and upkeep to prevent build up of grease and debris and prevent accidents or grease fires. Correction required in two weeks. Hot and cold water available. Washrooms are sanitary with fully stocked hand sinks. Ice machine with dedicated hand scoop. Take out containers and utensils are sanitary. 3-compartment sink in use. Bleach/Chlorine sanitizer in use at 200 ppm in spray bottle. Ensure bleach solution is replenished daily. Dishwasher final rinse at 100 ppm Chlorine at the plate detected. Back storage room. Take out containers and onions only. Room is closed. Permit posted in conspicuous location. Copy of Health Permit issued to operator. Ensure to attach renewal sticker to the permit. Holding units: Coolers at 4C and below. Walk in freezer at -18C. Hot holding unit at 60C and above for front display unit for samosas.
