Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwash station obstructed with one tray of samosas and one tray of samosa filling. No access to only handwash station in the kitchen. Staff were preparing food throughout the kitchen at the time of inspection. This is a continuing violation.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash station must be easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Trays were removed from the handwash station at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Container of laundry detergent was stored on top of box of tamarinds. This is a repeat violation.
Corrective Action(s): Chemicals and foods must be stored separately to prevent potential contamination of foods and/or potential cross contamination of foods and food contact surfaces. Chemicals were relocated at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Follow-up inspection to September 17, 2018.
-Sauces in the walk-in cooler were probed at 4C. Hot potentially hazardous foods appear to be properly cooled.
-Washroom handwash station had hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Did not observe newspaper being used to cover/contact foods at the time of inspection.
-Raid insect spray has been removed from the facility.
-Did not observe scoops stored inside food containers at the time of inspection.
