Follow up inspection:

-All affected areas were cleaned to remove the rodent droppings.
-Prep. cooler near the frying area was at or below 4 degrees C (4.0 degrees C inside the cooler and 1.9 degrees C inside an insert). It was equipped with a thermometer.
-Garbage bins were added near the handsink in the sushi bar.
-Light covers were installed over the light bulbs in the kitchen.
-The previously empty and unplugged chest freezers were being used today. They were -18 degrees C or less.

The following is still outstanding from the routine inspection report:
1. Replace the sliding glass door for the sushi bar cooler which is taped and partly broken in one area; Correct within 1 month. The Manager mentioned that they have a replacement piece on order.
2. Replace the seal of the side doors of the walk-in-cooler; Correct within 2 months.
3. Keep up with pest control measures mentioned on the routine inspection and provide the district Environmental Health Officer of Fraser Health a copy of the next pest control reports/invoices.
4. Maintain records of refrigeration units at least on a daily basis.
