304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: There are still mouse activity in the bar/kitchen area as droppings observed during inspection. Also, inspection report from pest control also indicate some activity as well as the facility's log book. Corrective Action(s): Continue the increased frequency of pest control visits as well as the in-house monitoring for new activities and cleaning up of areas where droppings are found. Violation Score: 3 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)] Observation: Pest control company working with the facility to determine possibly entry points. Found an opening during inspection on the side of the bistro's front service area. Corrective Action(s): Cover up any holes or gaps that may still exist. Violation Score: 3

Comments

Improvements made regarding pest control monitoring with the new pest control contract. Reports provided from the pest control company. Facility is now conducting their own tracking of pest control activity and log sheet available. Sanitation is good and items are stored off the floor. Some degreasing required underneath the dishwashing equipment on the back wall. Another follow-up to be conducted next week. Pest control is scheduled to look at the kitchen ceiling area this week. Provide new pest control report for next week.
