Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). Today’s inspection focused on the physical facility and health and hygiene systems to ensure the safety of children during Covid-19 pandemic.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the inspection dated June 17, 2020, all classrooms were in session with appropriate staffing ratio. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed.
Covid-19 prevention strategies, daily health check & the requirement of posting a safety plan was discussed today. Covid-19 resources/posters were shared with the staff today.
This inspection report was written off site. A copy of inspection report and the risk assessment will be mailed to the facility. Licensing staff completed Risk Screening –Covid -19 prior to this inspection.
