Comments

Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Refrigeration units in use for storing cold potentially hazardous foods were at or below 4 degrees C.
Feezers were at or below -18 degrees C.
Hot-held food was at or above 60 degrees C.
Sushi rice pH was at or below 4.2. Operator stated they keep sushi rice at room temperature for 2 hours maximum.
Dishwasher final rinse temperature was at or above 71 degrees C (measured at 77.6 degrees C) at the plate level.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available inside spray bottles.
Operator with valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate was present on-site.
Note: Single-use take out containers were observed off the floor in the dining area. Dining is currently closed off to customers and Operator stated that they plan to resume dining again in July 2021.
Food was observed being served through a small take-out window.
Concern: A COVID-19 safety plan was not present on-site.

The following action is required:
1. Re-locate all the single-use take-out containers and dry goods currently in the dining area to the designated dry storage area in the food premises as per the approved floor plan prior to re-opening the dining area to customers.
2. Prior to re-opening for dining, ensure you have reviewed and implemented measures in accordance with the Provincial Health Officer's Orders.
3. Ensure a COVID-19 safety plan in accordance with the Provincial Health Officer's Order and Worksafe B.C. is posted on-site. WorkSafe B.C. COVID-19 safety plan templates were provided to the Operator.
